The Finally Farm team wrapped up to fantastic weeks at the Aiken Summer Classics at Bruce’s Field with many great performances, ribbons and memories.
Liza Boyd piloted El Porvenir Kenzo, owned by EMO Stables, to championship honors in the Green Hunter 3’ division. The pair was awarded with the Beverly Finkle Memorial Trophy, as well, for their consistent performances.
Liza and Meralex Farm’s Oakley took top honors in the Marshall+Sterling Classic Hunter Derby 3’ and 3’3” on their way to receiving the Kiara Barnette Memorial Trophy.
It was such a consistent two weeks for this special young horse! We’re so grateful to Bryan Baldwin for the ride and the entire team behind Oakley. Thank you also to Ernie and Betty Oare for the ride on their superstar young horse!
Addy Grace Anderson and MTM Crossed My Mind received the championship in the Junior Hunter 3’6” division during the first week and claimed the reserve championship during the second week! The duo also earned third in the Marshall+Sterling Classic Hunter Derby 3’ & 3’3” with great rounds. This pair was honored with the Sweet Surprise Perpetual Trophy and The James Vaughn Perpetual Trophy.

The Aiken Summer Classic was one for the books for MC Nolan! MC piloted Ferrari to the championship in the Amateur-Owner Hunter, 3’6”, 18-35 during the first week and secured reserve champion honors the second week. This duo was awarded the Seabrook Perpetual Trophy for their two weeks of great results.
MC also earned two seconds and two thirds in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3’/3’6” aboard her new mount Aoki. Riding Cruse, MC finished second in the Ariat Adult Medal.
Frances Kelly had two memorable weeks at the Aiken Summer Classic. Frances piloted a variety of horses and ponies to excellent results, including Cherrybrook Dream Maker, the champion Pony Hunter and winner of the Pony Hunter Classic and the Keith R. Nichols Memorial Perpetual Trophy. Frances also topped the WIHS Pony Equitation Class with superb riding.

Frances rode Blue Fame to the championship in the Small Pony Hunters, Golden Goose to the Green Pony Hunter championship and earned three seconds and a third aboard Didi Blue in the 3’3” Small Junior Hunters. As icing on the cake, she rode Charlemagne to clear rounds in the .85m Jumpers.
It was two weeks and two tricolors for Adeline Boyd and Madewell. They secured the championship honors in the Children’s Hunter, 14 & Under, division and were awarded the Trick Or Treat Memorial Trophy. We’re so thankful to Courtney Trott and Marigot Bay Farm for the ride on Madewell.
Elle Boyd wrapped up the Aiken Summer Classic with excellent results. Aboard Boheme du Moulin, she won the Aiken Saddlery Welcome and placed third in the $25,000 Grand Prix. Piloting Reston, she was champion in the Small Junior Hunter 3’6” 16-17 division. We’re so grateful to Artemis Equestrian Farm for the ride on Reston.
