MC Nolan and Ferrari
After a fantastic WCHR Week 6, the Finally Farm team continued that momentum during Weeks 7-10 on the Winter Equestrian Festival circuit in Wellington, Florida.
Gigi Manigault and Walk Off were in winning form during Week 7. This pair took top honors in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6”, 18-35 Stake, with an impressive score of 86.
Meralex Farm’s Oakley also impressed the judges and and scored a 92 on the way to two wins and the reserve championship in the 3’3” Performance Hunters. What’s even better is that Oakley only showed one day in the division for the tricolor! Oakley has come so far on the circuit that he contested his first $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby Open on the field. Thank you Bryan Baldwin and the team at Meralex Farm for such a great horse to show.
Elle Boyd and Favorit Julius
Elle Boyd continued her success during WEF 8, where she guided Favorit Julius to second place in the Dover Saddlery USEF Hunter Seat Medal and third in the WIHS Hunter Phase. Elle and Boheme Du Moulin sped to fifth in the $15,000 NAL 1.35m Junior Jumper Classic. As always, a huge thank you to Berry Porter, Brookside Farm, Eleanor Rudnicki, Maggie Gampfer, and North Run for all their assistance!
Frances Kelly and Blue Fame made Pony Island shimmer during WEF 8. They claimed two blues and a third in the Small Pony Hunter division for the reserve championship. This pair has consistently earned top results all season. Congratulations, Frances!
Eloise Ervin and Speaking Of showed off their style for a win and score of 85 in the Junior Hunter 3’3”, 15 & Under Handy, during WEF 8. Such a great victory, and we’re so proud of the progress you continue to make on the winter circuit.
MC Nolan also had top results during WEF 8. Riding Ferrari, MC produced beautiful rounds and earned great ribbons in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6”, 18-35, division out of a very competitive group. In the equitation ring, MC claimed second aboard Cruse in the THIS NHS Adult Medal. Congratulations on a super week!
Meredith Huddle and Bluewater continued their successful season. This duo took home a second, two fourths, and a fifth in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3”, 36 & Over, division during WEF 8. Such a consistent and rewarding year for these two.
George Kelly and Didi Blue
George Kelly and Didi Blue collected blue! This duo impressed in the Junior Hunter 3’3”, 15 & Under, division scoring an 87 and 85 for first and second placed ribbons.
Riding Kellog, Meredith Huddle secured third in both the THIS NHS Adult Medal and Bruno Delgrange Palm Beach Adult Medal during WEF 7. She also piloted MTM Axel to two clear rounds in the 1.0m Jumpers with super rides.
Margot Peroni rode her young horses to excellent results during WEF 9. Aboard Chacoon’s Nevo PS, Margot earned two firsts and a second in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’6”, 36 & Over, division for the reserve championship. Margot and Yesterday claimed two seconds in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3”, 36 & Over, to round out her successful weekend.
Elle Boyd and Favorit Julius topped the ASPCA Maclay during WEF 9 over a talented group of riders. The pair also finished second in the Dover Saddlery USEF Hunter Seat Medal. We’ll be so excited to cheer Elle on in the WEF Equitation Championship during WEF 11 where all the junior equitation winners face-off!
We are forever grateful to Berry Porter, Brookside Farm, Eleanor Rudnicki, Maggie Gampfer, and North Run for their incredible training and support. Elle has grown so much as a rider under their guidance this winter.
Addy Grace Anderson and MTM Crossed My Mind were on fire during WEF 9. This pair scored an 85 for second in the Small Junior Hunter 3’6”, 16-17, division and also picked up a fourth in the Stake. We love watching these two together!
Kristen Jones and Incanto with Jack Towell
Liza also captured some impressive ribbons during WEF 9. She piloted Chacoon’s Nevo PS, owned by Margot Peroni, to a score of 91 to secure the win in the Green Hunter 3’6”. With Meralex Farm’s Hillsborough Bay, she took home second in the Green Hunter Incentive 3’9”. Riding MTM Crossed My Mind, owned by Hodgkiss Farm LLC, Liza claimed second in the Performance Hunter 3’6”, one of the largest divisions of the week. With Beaucoup Du Bliss, Liza earned a score of 87.5 in the Green Hunter 3’ division for fourth.
Elle Boyd and Boheme Du Moulin sped to top honors in the 1.30m Junior Jumpers during WEF 10 and finished in the top-10 in the Classic for reserve championship honors in the division.
Bridget Hallman piloted Brentwood to her own reserve championship, hers coming in the Amateur-Owner 3’6”, 36 & Over, division. The pair earned a second and two thirds on their way to the tricolor.
The 3’3” Amateur-Owner Hunter, 36 & Over, ladies had a great week 10. Kristen Jones rode Incanto and Meredith Huddle with Bluewater produced great rounds, earning nice scores and results. We’re so excited to welcome Kristen to the Finally Farm team. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
